The Duke is produced in Aschheim near Munich and has become an integral part of the core range of many gin connoisseurs. A total of 13 selected herbs - including juniper berries, coriander, lemon peel, angelica root, ginger, lavender flowers, cubeb pepper and other botanicals - are married together and have been distilled in a hand-built copper still called Carl since 2008. The Duke is distilled twice using the fine-peated spirit method. Its place of origin is emphasised by two particular botanicals: hop flowers and malt reveal the Gin to be a true Bavarian.
