The Eminente Gran Reserva Edition N°1 Rum is a 10-year-old Cuban rum made from a blend of light rum and aguardiente with a finish in French oak barrels that previously held cognac. It is 80% aguardiente, the generic name in Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking countries for spirits between 40 and 45% alcohol by volume, and has an alcohol content of 43.5%. Gran Reserva marks the launch of the first limited edition in a series of limited edition cask finishes that can be expected with Gran Reserva in the coming years.
