Ron Centenario Gran Reserva 25 Aniversario is produced in the solera process from the distillery's Gran Reserva stocks, whereby 6 - 25 year old rums are blended together. Originally named after a famous racehorse in 1985, there are now many bottlings from the distillery, which advertises its rum itself as "The Spirit of Costa Rica". Due to the special location between the Caribbean and the Pacific, unique weather conditions develop that have a special influence on the maturation of the rum. The distillery itself attaches great importance to sustainability and the well-being of its employees.
