Five brothers of the Spanish Botran family decided to follow their passion for rum and therefore undertook an adventure to Guatemala together. There they devoted themselves entirely to the production of rum. For the Botran Solera No.18 Rum, rums aged between 5 and 18 years were blended together. The dynamic solera maturation process took place in four different barrels. The bottling is a tribute to Merino Botran, the first of the Botran brothers to move to Guatemala, and is intended to reflect his intransigence and passion for rum.
