The rums from Malecon Rum have their origins in Panama and are produced according to Cuban tradition. Malecon Rum Rare Proof is produced as a small batch from high-quality, local molasses in Panama. The sugar cane used for this comes from the fields around the distillery and guarantees high quality during further processing. The fermented molasses is distilled in column stills in the Cuban tradition and then matured for 13 years.
