Remedy was created during Prohibition in the United States of America. During this time, rum was sold in pharmacies under medical pretences. Rums from Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and the Dominican Republic form the basis for the spiced rum spirit. It is flavoured with an essence of pineapple. This set also includes two 50 ml miniatures of Remedy Elixir, which is made from a rum from Panama aged for up to seven years in oak barrels, and a miniature of Remedy Pineapple, which is refined with pineapple essence.
