At 54.7% vol., the Wagemut -SCC Home Base is the ideal introduction to the world of cask-strength Barbados rums, both in terms of flavour and price. The distillate comes from the famous Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, which is highly regarded by rum connoisseurs. The rum matured for 10 years in former Borubon barrels and then underwent a 3-month finish in Madeira barrels in Wagemut's barrel warehouse in Germany.
